Working by the coast in North Devon

A documentary style of working for me keeps my work free and fluid by sketching, candids and travel diaries. Then i refine ideas and images that i want to develop in the studio. Predominantly working in pen and ink, fineliner, lino printing, found papers and typography.

My main influences are from music, reading, nature, the outdoors, surf/skate culture

film and overheard conversation, with focus on repetition of pattern, inky, deep tones contrasted with minimalist space and light.
